Description Rectangular Chinle-style rug woven entirely in plain, weft-faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; Design consists of 4 bands that each contain a row of contiguous concentric serrated diamonds in red, white, and black on a medium gray background, alternating with five plainer bands; Of the five plainer bands, the outermost one at either end has a decorative gray band in center, flanked by plain red and white bands, all on black background, while the 3 remaining plainer bands show the same decorative gray center band, but it is flanked by a red and white band woven in the beading technique, again on a black background; Selvage and end cords are all black.
