Description Rectangular Two Grey Hills style rug woven entirely in plain weft-faced tapestry technique with interlocking joins; Design consists of a single large single large diamond motif in the center, made of many smaller concentric terraced diamonds, some of which are plain and others with hooked appendages in colors of dark brown, white, and medium gray on a tan background; Three smaller terraced diamonds (1 each in medium brown, black, and white) are located in each corner; Triple border frames the rug along all four edges; Innermost border consists of row of contiguous gray terraced triangles along sides and outlined in medium brown, followed by a reciprocating border in white; Both of these borders are straight edged along the ends of the rug; Outermost border is plain black and is straight edged along all four sides; Gray spirit line extends from innermost gray border to outer edge of rug near one corner; Selvage cords are tan and end cords are black.
