Description Large rectangular Germantown Eyedazzler rug woven entirely in plain weft-faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; All over design consists of three vertical columns of concentric straight-edged and serrated diamonds in colors of red, black, yellow, green, and maroon on a maroon background; A column of similar half-diamonds (but lacking yellow) is located along each side of the rug; Rug is framed along all four edges by an interior red border and an outer black border, both of which are straight-edged; Selvage and end cords are red; Augmented tassels of red, black, and yellow yarn are sewn into each corner.
