Description Small rectangular Wide Ruins style rug woven entirely in plain weft-faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; Borderless, banded design shows a design band of a row of concentric serrated diamonds (white and dark brown), on a light brown background and flanked by zigzag serrated lines in medium brown and white on a dark brown background, the entire band repeated four times; Alternating with the design band and repeated five times is a plain band of medium brown, with several lines of light brown woven across the center in a wavy Crystal-style weave; Letter “S” is woven near one corner; Very narrow dark brown band is located at each end of rug; Both selvage cords and end cords are light brown.
