Description Small jar-shaped water bottle with flat base, rounded body, and high rounded shoulder that tapers to a short slightly constricted neck with flaring rim; Basket is woven in plain diagonal twining technique; Warp and weft material is sumac shoots; Warp rods are bent over at rim and concealed in a false braid; Interior and exterior are heavily coated with piñon pine pitch mixed with red ochre; Leather lace is tied around neck.
