Description Deep round basket with flat base, straight sides, high inward sloping shoulder, and short neck with wide mouth; Corresponding lid is generally domed, rising gradually to rounded top and braided loop handle; Both basket and lid are woven in coiled technique over bundle foundation; Warp material is rye grass stems and primary weft material is rye grass leaves; Strips of brown seal skin are woven in among weft stitches on every third row; Seal skin strip on bottom most row is dyed red.
