Description | Small round jar with rounded base and round sides that curve inward toward the rim; Wide semi-flattened stirrup handle is attached to rim and has a short flange projecting outward at each end; Interior and exterior surfaces are scraped smooth and two heart-shaped faces are modeled on the sides of the jar, opposite each other; Both faces are nearly identical, including small round eyes, a projecting pointed nose, and a small mouth; Both faces are painted gray and then overpainted with white designs, except the mouths which are red; The flanges at bases of handle are also painted gray and white. | |
