Single strand necklace consisting of a cotton string or native cordage chain woven in a macramé technique and decorated with a single row of white cowrie shells along its entire length; At the bottom of the necklace, the ends of the woven necklace are joined and included in a wider band that is looped around a pair of boar tusks; Four larger cowrie shells are attached in a cross pattern to the woven band securing the tusks. |
