Hair comb made from a wide piece of bamboo cut from the side of a whole cane; Distal end has been cut with parallel longitudinal cuts to form 16 very long teeth; Dorsal side of comb on proximal end (above the teeth) is very shallowly carved with various geometric designs whose outlines are rubbed with white lime and their interior negative spaces are lightly stained black. |
