Description Hemispherical woman's hat with flat base and curving sides; Woven primarily in plain twining with 3-strand twining on base and near rim; Design is in bear grass and maidenhair fern and divided into 3 registers; 5-point star is on crown; Middle and rim registers show 3 motifs of stacked parallelograms with negative terraced units within and diagonal bisecting lines ("flint pattern with snake lines").
