Description Globose wedding basket with flat base and rounded sides; Woven primarily in 2-strand, diagonal twining, with 3-strand twining at the basket start; Designs are woven in wrapped twining technique and consist of 3 large motifs that spiral from the base to the rim and include diagonally stacked positive and negative parallelograms, bordered on one side by large triangles and along other side by partial triangles; Narrow band of alternating dark and light weft fibers encircles basket just below rim.
