Description Round basket with flat base and rounded sides that curve in at rim; Coiled on 3-rod foundation; Designs in dyed bulrush include 5 small triangles in circular area on base (forming negative 5-petal floral motif); 5 large black triangles begin on base and extend to rim; Red woodpecker feathers fill intervening spaces on sides; 5 groups of 3 shell beads and 3 light blue seed beads frame rim. [In 1977, Pomo basketweaver, Mable McKay, commented that this basket, as well as CAS 0145-0111, 0145-0112, and 0370-0813 were all likely woven by the same weaver, Lydia Anderson Faught.]
