Description Lamp known as Jyoti Deepa, used to light other lamps and to furnish them with oil; Circular, tiered base supports deep round, jar-shaped reservoir; Long handle, terminating in a spade motif, extends from rim and is marked with Hindu (?) inscription along one edge; Pear shaped oil cup extends from rim of reservoir, opposite wide handle; Large spoon with curved handle is attached to rim of reservoir by a chain and is used to dip oil from reservoir to cup.
