Description Mold-pressed oil lamp with squat, round oil reservoir with closed top and concave center decorated with figure of a standing bird in low relief profile; 0.6 cm diameter perforation is located in concave depression just below bird’s tail; Wide, constricted wick spout with single round perforation extends out from front side of reservoir; Perforated lug handle extends out from back side of reservoir opposite wick spout and originally extended above rim of reservoir; Exterior surfaces are slipped brick red; “No. 72 Nin-el-Houd 1904” written on bottom.
