Jinrikisha lamp which hung between the wheels of a rickshaw carriage; Hanging lantern consisting of a bell-shaped oil reservoir with small screw-on lid that holds wick, all set onto round base with openwork sides; Openwork collar screws onto rim of base and completely encloses reservoir; Inverted conical glass chimney fits over wick holder and rests on narrow collar around inside of openwork collar; Cylindrical wire cage with smaller cylindrical chimney and fluted roof fits over glass chimney and openwork collar and screws onto rim of base; Short chain with hook for hanging lantern is attached to top of wire cage. |
