Incensario with deep, hollow base and shallow bowl; Front design shows a human face, with a long, narrow nose and wide, coffee bean eyes and mouth which look half open; Arching above the nose and down the cheeks is an inverted "U" shape, raised and punctuated with small indented dots; Back design shows a cut out "plus" shape, opening into the hollow base; Each side between front and back has a series of points sticking out perpendicular to the vessel wall; Beige and brown on the back, red on the front. |
