Double saddle blanket woven entirely in weft-faced twill weave; All over pattern consists of narrow vertical stripes in alternating colors of brown and combination of white and carded gray; Narrow brown band at each end; Supplementary decorative fringe in black or purple is added at each corner. Note: Original CAS catalog card for this saddle blanket identifies this twill design as “owl’s eye design.†|
