| Description | Belt comprising 7 large oval conchos with scalloped edges; Domed center of each concho is stamped with central oval, encircled by cold chisel straight lines radiating outward and by concentric die-stamped bands (including semicircles, serrated lines, and crescents) and a band of punctate holes; Flat copper loop on reverse of each concho for attaching to belt; Rectangular buckle with cutout center is done in repoussé technique and decorated with pair of leaf shapes along top and bottom, stamped design along edges, 3 ovals along ends, and stamped zigzag line along sides; Unsigned conchos and buckle are mounted on wide leather belt thst is cut from a single piece and secured from behind with 2nd narrower belt. | |
