Description | Deep round jar with flat base; Flaring sides that rise to a high shoulder, narrow inward-sloping neck, and wide mouth; Interior and exterior surfaces are scraped smooth and coated with red slip; Entire exterior and interior only of rim are polished; Wide design band around upper exterior sides is divided into 4 panels and decorated with two alternating geometric motifs in black, all framed above and below by wide and narrow framing lines; Jar is unsigned. | |
