Description | Large olla or water jar with concave base and flaring sides that curve upward to high, well defined shoulder; Wide but short neck curves inward to wide mouth; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth and slipped white, except for rim around interior rim and underbody, which are slipped orange; Band that encircles neck and extends from rim to shoulder is divided into rectangular panels, each containing black triangles in opposite corners and hatch-lined hourglass motif; Design field below shoulder contains 4 black and white hatch-lined swastikas with V-shaped groups of black triangles filling the intervening spaces; Jar is unsigned. | |
