Description | Round jar with concave base, very rounded sides, and a very short neck with wide mouth; Interior and exterior are completely covered with a pale orange slip; Exterior underbody and interior of rim are covered with a brick red slip; Painted design band around sides of jar consists of wide band with scalloped upper and lower edges, enclosing row of black paired and bisected triangles; Overall band is on brick red background and framed between double upper and lower framing lines; Jar is unsigned. | |
