Description | Deep, round jar with flat base, rounded sides, wide mouth and in-curving rim; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth; Entire exterior except base is covered with cream-colored slip; Painted band of black contiguous scallops encircles rim; Second band of black contiguous elongated triangles (each containing a negative terraced V-shape) encircles upper body of jar; Jar is unsigned but probably same maker as CAS 0370-0127. | |
