Description | Small round bowl with flat base and rounded sides that curve inward toward wide mouth; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth and coated with a slip; Entire exterior and rim are highly burnished but otherwise undecorated; Bowl is reduction fired to glossy black color and is unsigned. This bowl was used by Elkus family as a salt cellar. | |
