Description Modeled figurine of fledgling eagle-like bird shown in standing position with its wings outstretched and supported by its extended tail; All surfaces are scraped very smooth and highly burnished; Deeply incised lines (2 on each wing and 3 on tail) represent feathers; Small punctate holes represent the eyes; Figurine is reduction fired to glossy black color and is otherwise undecorated and unsigned.
