Description | Modeled figurine of beaver in crouched position with its head held up and its broad flat tail extended out; Figurine is anatomically incorrect in that its head is grossly oversized and its body is too short; Incised line represent mouth and punctate pin holes represent eyes; Ears are modeled; All surfaces are scraped very smooth and highly burnished; Figurine is reduction fired to glossy black color and is otherwise undecorated and unsigned. | |
