Description | Round salad or bread and butter sized plate with flat base and very low, flaring sides; Interior and exterior are scraped very smooth, coated with a slip and highly burnished; Design band painted in black matte slip around interior rim consists of small contiguous crescent shapes and groups of 3 small dots along lower edge of each one; Plate is reduction fired to black-on-black color; Signature "Marie" is incised in script on base. | |
