Description | Small round jar with flat base, flaring lower body, high rounded shoulder, and inward sloping neck rising to a straight rim and wide mouth; Interior and exterior surfaces are scraped smooth; Rim and entire exterior are coated with red slip and are well burnished, except for base; Jar is otherwise undecorated and is unsigned. Identified as the work of Catherine Vigil in March, 1982 by her son Martin Vigil, Jr. | |
