Description |
Cylindrical pitcher with flat base, rounded lower body, and tall tapering neck with everted rim; Flattened handle attached to rim and to lower body has 4 modeled faces (with black eyes and red noses) along its length; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth; Exterior and interior of rim are slipped red and burnished; Black design on exterior consists of 4 vertical panels on lower body, each with central rectangle outlined by large chevrons; Series of parallel encircling lines and diagonal columns of solid black squares fill the wide neck band; Short squiggly lines encircle lip. |
