Description | Round bowl with flat base, rounded sides, and inward curving rim; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth and coated with red slip; Interior and lower half of exterior are lightly burnished; Wide band around upper half of exterior is painted white and divided into 8 panels, each containing diagonally positioned pair of black feathers; Alternate panels also contain triangular shapes in opposing corners; Entire design band is framed above and below by paired black framing lines, including heavy black line along lip; Bowl is unsigned. | |
