Description | Shallow round bowl with flat base and rounded sides that rise upward to a straight rim; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth, covered with a red slip, and lightly burnished; Wide band around upper half of exterior is painted white and divided into 12 panels, separated by paired black vertical lines; Each panel contains paired black parallelograms that are positioned diagonally; Overall band is bordered above and below by paired black framing lines, including heavy black line that outlines rim; Bowl is unsigned. | |
