Description Round shallow bowl with flat base and flaring sides; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth; Exterior is covered with orange-red slip and interior is covered with white slip; Black painted designs on interior consist of single bird with prominent tail feathers in center; Band of black contiguous semicircles encircles interior rim and solid black line encircles lip; Line around lip includes ceremonial break in the design; Bowl is unsigned. Paul Trujillo is the uncle of Helen Cordero, who started the tradition of storyteller dolls at Cochiti Pueblo.
