Description | Human-like figurine, commonly called a rain god, in seated position with outstretched legs, head turned slightly to the left, and arms supporting small olla on figure's legs; Facial features are modeled and incised; Prominent lock of hair in front is also modeled; Entire figure is covered with off white slip; Orange and green designs are painted on figure's forehead, cheeks, neck (necklace?), and wrists (bracelets?) and around neck of olla; Figurine is unsigned. | |
