Miniature round bowl with flat base and rounded sides with inward-curving rim; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth and coated with red slip; Exterior is highly polished; Painted designs on upper exterior includes narrow black encircling line just below rim and narrow curvilinear fret line with pendant tick marks just below it; Solid black line outlines rim; Signature "Mary Juan" is written in script on base. |
