| Description | Round jar with flat base, flaring sides on lower half, midlevel shoulder, and inward curving upper half; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth; Exterior is coated with red slip and lightly burnished; Upper half is painted white and decorated a single motif that includes a red kiva steps motif (outlined in black) and pair of black stylized feathers; Entire motif is repeated 3 times, bordered above and below by narrow framing lines; Heavy black line outlines lip; Jar is unsigned. | |
