Description Hand-carved 3-dimensional standing figure of Navajo man impersonating Talking God, the principle Navajo deity, accompanied at Navajo ceremony by female patient (CAS 0370-0501B) and by male and female yeibichai dancers (0370-0501C and 0370-0501D, respectively); Figure wears brown shirt, turquoise necklace, bracelets, rings, and concho belt, gray pants, brown moccasins, tan buckskin cape, and white head mask that includes crown of spread eagle plumes; He carries small pollen pouch in right hand and fox skin in left hand; All details of figure are carved and painted except tips of eagle plume headdress which are actual chicken feathers; Signature "Clitso" is printed in pencil on soles of both feet.
