Description | Serape woven entirely in plain tapestry weave; Asymmetrical, banded design on red background includes bands of concentric serrated diamonds and parallel serrated zigzag lines in brown, orange, green, maroon, white, black, gray, and lavender; Large rectangular motif in light tan is located near one end of serape; Supplemental fringe in green, maroon, black, and brown is added along one end; Traces of supplemental green tassels are evident in corners at opposite end. | |
