Description |
Transitional blanket - rug woven entirely in plain tapestry weave; Borderless banded pattern consists of 5 design bands, all with red backgrounds but with different designs in each band; Two bands at one end show row of concentric diamonds with smaller appended diamonds; Center band shows row of concentric crosses with row of straight edged diamonds above and row of terraced diamonds below; Two bands at opposite end show row of concentric terraced diamonds, closely spaced and widely spaced, respectively; Plain gray band separates adjacent design bands and contain row of open or solid diamonds or narrow band divided into parallelogram-shaped segments. |
