Description | Man's shirt constructed from several hand woven panels; Single rectangular panel that is folded over across the shoulders makes up body of shirt; Triangular area is cut out at top center for head and the edges are wrap stitched; Overall panel is woven in diagonal twill technique in plain white, with exception of wide band at either end that are woven in diamond twill technique in black and white; Side seams of main panel are sewn with black yarn; Separate panels that form tubular sleeves are similarly constructed with diamond twill panels along cuffs, seams along underside of sleeve, and sewn to shoulders with black yarn. | |
