Description |
Two Grey Hills style rug woven entirely in plain tapestry weave; Design in central rectangular area includes 8-pointed black and white star in center, connected by white meandering lines to four black and white geometric units in corners, all on carded tan background and framed within rectilinear meandering border in black and white around four sides; Inner border is carded gray, and outermost border is black. (Note: Colors of this rug indicate Two Grey Hills origin, but design layout is more similar to storm pattern rug -- Russell Hartman, 1998.) |
