Description Raised outline style rug woven in plain tapestry weave; Small central diamond in red and white vertical stripes is on background of white and carded gray vertical stripes; Edges of small diamond are woven in raised outline technique, accomplished by passing weft over two warps instead of usual one; Four larger diamonds (2 above and 2 below central diamond) are similarly defined in background area; Serrated border around all four sides of rug is woven in vertical stripes of red and black and its inside edge is also defined in raised outline.
