Description |
Blanket woven entirely in plain tapestry weave; Paired warps in center indicate blanket was woven on loom that was half as wide as completed textile; Borderless design consists of horizontal bands arranged into 5 panels; Each zone includes a central band in pink/lavender/yellow, flanked by alternating bands in red and brown; Adjacent zones are separated by a wider band in white, edged in lavender and red; Warps ends are cut and knotted at each end to form short fringe. |
