Description Carved figure of Salako Mana or Salakmana (Hopi Shalako Girl or Cloud Girl), who accompanies Shalako Taka, but the two have appeared very rarely in the Hopi villages; Figure is shown in standing position and wearing face mask with rainbow-colored band on chin and red circle on each cheek, surmounted by elaborate terraced tableta carved in several pieces, painted in green, red, yellow, and black, and assembled; Figure is dressed in black and white dress (to simulate eagle feathers) and red, blue, and white maiden's shawl, and white moccasins and leggings; Figure is mounted on black wooden base (not original) for display purposes.
