Description Round basket with flat base and rounded sides that taper in at rim; Coiled on single-rod foundation; Designs in redbud include band of solid triangles pointing upward on lower sides and second band of triangles pointing downward from rim, forming a negative zigzag band around sides. [In 1977 Pomo basketweaver Mable McKay identified this design as the “sunflower” design.]
