Description Round basket with flat base and rounded sides that slope inward toward the rim; Basket is woven entirely in coiled technique over large bundle coils; two small loops are woven into rim coil opposite each other and coil-wrapped bail handle is attached to them; Additional single small loop is also attached to rim coil; Separate round lid is domed and has small coil-wrapped loop handle on its top; Warp material is galleta grass stems and weft material is natural, vegetal, and aniline dyed yucca leaves; Design on sides of basket include six contiguous concentric terraced diamonds which extend from the base to the rim; Each diamond is half red and half green and each is edged in black on the inside and on the outside; Design on lid consists of several open terraced black triangles and two narrow red and green terraced triangles.
