Description 3-dimensional carved figurine in standing position, representing Monongya (Lizard Katsina), who appears in several different forms; Figure's torso is orange with yellow shoulders, forearms, and legs and he wears a carved and painted white kilt with dance sash and black breechclout, orange moccasins, blue armbands, and multi-strand necklace; Case mask has orange tab ears and yellow projecting snout, and green neck ruff; Back of mask is white with multi-colored dots; Front of mask is brown with yellow terraced triangle around snout, orange and blue band along top, and painted bundle of green yucca leaves or corn husks tied to forehead; 2 pairs of black feathers tied to top of mask; Almost certainly carved by same carver as CAS 0370-0847.
