3-dimensional carved figure in standing position, representing Kachin Mana (Katsina Girl or Yellow Corn Girl) who appears with numerous katsinam and takes the name of whatever katsina she is accompanying; Figure wears yellow face mask with red stripes extending down across eyes; Black and white checkered beards completes mask; Her hair is worn in butterfly whorls in style of unmarried girl and she is dressed in black woven dress, red, black and white maiden's shawl, and white leggings and moccasins; Single gray down feather is attached to top of figure's head. |
