3-dimensional carved figurine in standing position, representing Mongwu (Great Horned Owl) katsina; Figure's upper torso is painted orange, with yellow shoulders and forearms and legs; He wears orange moccasins, white kilt with sash and black breechclout (all painted) and painted necklace; Gray case mask is carved in form of an owl's head with yellow eyes and beak and green neck ruff; Almost certainly carved by same carver as CAS 0370-0841. |
