Description | Round flat wall plaque, woven in coiled technique over bundle foundation; Warp fibers are galleta grass stems and weft fibers are finely split yucca leaves; Geometric design consists of 4 V-shaped floral (?) motifs in black, yellow, and rust brown arranged around an open central area; Second to the last coil alternates yellow and rust brown colors; Rim coil is entirely black; Short coil-wrapped loop is attached to rim coil for hanging plaque on wall. | |
