Description Shallow rectangular tray with flat base and low sides that gently curve upward to a vertical position; Basket is woven entirely in plaited technique (primarily over 3/under 3); Warp material is natural green split yucca leaves and weft material is sun-bleached white yucca leaves; Warp and weft fibers are folded over length of heavy gauge wire at rim, secured with single row of twined yucca leaves, and then their ends trimmed on exterior; Design consists of row of concentric green and white, contiguous diamonds down center length of tray with one additional triangle above and below, all on background of alternating green and white chevrons.
