Description Somewhat square (with rounded corners) and nearly flat plaque, woven entirely in wicker technique over multiple warps; Warp material is probably sumac stems and weft material is natural and vegetal dyed rabbitbrush stems; At the rim, one warp stem from each warp group is bent over and incorporated into a bundle that is coil-wrapped in dyed black yucca leaves; Design consists of a single full-figure image that probably depicts Sotuknangu (Heart of the Sky God), a deity who sometimes appears in katsina form, as well; Figure's face is decorated with black hourglass motifs below his eyes, black and white checkered triangles above the eyes, and has red tab ears and is flanked above and at each side by a red and black triangular motif; Figure is dressed in what may be a black woven dress with a black, red, and natural colored belt; Narrow band with natural colored blocks on black background (white cloud motif) encircles the rim.
